Presented by Mr. Lu Linsheng, one of greatest erhu-making masters in China, this instrument is made of small-leaf ebony sandalwood and equipped with premium python skin, and we think it a masterpiece for the professional Erhu players.

Comes with protective casings (this case is customized for the high-end instruments from Mr. Lu Linsheng) and is easy for carrying, bow, rosin, backup strings (2 sets); bridges and music sheet in staff notation (to be sent via Email).

Being included in the shipment package is a certificate that certifying the certificate code number complies with that on the Erhu soundbox and cerfities that the instrument is from Lu Linsheng Musical Instruments Workshop.

I bought the small-leaf Lu Lin Sheng erhu a few months ago and am now very pleaed with it.

At the time I had a dispute with the seller which on reflection I was totally mistaken.

The snake-skin is put on very tight and initially the tone is bright and quiet. It takes AGES to break-it-in. I speeded up the process by resting the erhu against my hifi speakers.

Now the tone is best described as sweet, refined and subtle. The bow included is a professional Yin Shi bow which is the dearest of all bows but is a little too stiff for a novice like me.

I received the item 4 days after payment by paypal, China to the UK. It passed through customs with only a minimum charge thanks to Peter Hseh.

At a 25% discount and a further 5% discount it is very good value.
