I wish there were more than 5 stars to give this flute. When I removed it from the box I was amazed. Everything is stunning, from the bamboo to the art work. However, the most amazing part of this 8-holed flute is the number of scales one can create. A skilled player can create moods ranging from tragedy to elation. This is a perfect choice for a player of any skill level, as it is very easy to play. Also, I ask a LOT of questions and Peter was happy to answer all of them. SCN is the only site I trust.

Unfortunately, my first flute arrived heavily damaged during shipping. Just a few short emails to Peter at SCN soon had this sorted out and a new flute was on the way. Shipping time from China to the North Eastern US was surprisingly short (about a week). This flute is well made, beautiful, and has a rich, sweet sound; and all at a very reasonable price. It would be hard to beat the service, quality, and the prices at SCN.
