This is the best dizi what I've handled. The scale on the flute is in perfect tune and it is very responsive and easy to play. The tone is very bright and lively! Shipping was the fastest what I've seen.

I was very pleased to discover this site as I already have a set of dizi flutes but felt I needed to look for a finer crafted instrument wanting a richer, deeper tone to improve the sound quality I was getting. I ordered the Key C Dizi first as this was the one I needed most. I am very impressed with the service given and the updates and progress of the transaction. The workmanship of the dizi itself is beautiful and I am so glad I chose it to be made from a solid block of bamboo and not jointed as this has added to the overall resonance in the sound which is so beautiful from this instrument. The Maestro Dizi Flute has a vibrant, rich and depth in the tone which I was looking for and the overall intonation and even tone throughout is excellent. I look forward to purchasing other instruments from this site and have every confidence in the service provided. - Matthew Orange

The one I ordered is in the key of C, in queens' tears bamboo (mottled).rnrn.Body: Beautiful. Longer and heavier than your average dizi. The bamboo looks superb and has obviously been selected with great care. Nylon biding is flawless. The holes are finely shaped, perfectly placed so your fingers never feel the knots of the bamboo. The general appearance of the instrument is exactly what you see on the pictures of this site. Only the varnish could be a little better, there is a (small) coarse patch near the upper horn (I'm a bit fussy, you know...). rnrn.Sound: I own six high level dizis, crafted from different masters. This one is the best sounding. Exceptional deepness and vibrant resonance makes the music it plays extremely alive. Breath sound is almost non-existent. Also, I am amazed at the easiness of playing the highest notes on this instrument. And it lets me blow a full tone higher than what my modest capacities usually allows me to reach. This dizi is a bit less loud than my lighter dizi in the same key, but the sound is a thousand times more nuanced. I simply love it.rnrn.General service: The interlocutor of this shop has been quite helpful and reactive. Sent me several mails, asking me details about my choices and letting me know every phase of the transaction. Shipping was very fast.rnrnFrederic Merchadou
